Delete your account

You can delete your The Travellers App account yourself in the app, or ask us to do it.

In the app

1. Open the You tab.
2. Tap Settings (the gear icon).
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

The account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

Email support@thetravellersapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in details, including your email address. You will not be able to sign back in.
• Your name, profile photo, banner, bio and the other details on your profile.

What is kept

• Questions, answers, tips and messages you posted stay visible to the people who could already see them, shown as written by “Deleted user”, so that conversations still make sense to the others in them.
• Reports involving the account are kept as a safety record.

If you want specific posts, messages or photos removed as well, say so in your email to support@thetravellersapp.com and we will remove them.

Deleting an account cannot be undone. More detail on how we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
